SJ Visuals is run by myself, Steve, filming and editing for over ten years. I started straight from Uni with a Film and Television degree filming broadcast for TV, sporting events, short films and every other scenario you can think of. I began shooting weddings for a friend of mine and soon realised how much I enjoyed them. There is so much heart and emotion that I can capture and put into a story to be told over again. Focussing on the people and the details of the day is what drives my films, not over complicating but just capturing moments that are pure.

 

                    

 

 

Working behind the camera is all I have ever wanted to do and all I have ever done. I spend far too much time researching or playing with the latest gadget or bit of kit I’ve bought much to the annoyance of my wife. Any down time finds me on the golf course, catching up with mates or relaxing with a film or two.

 

We got married ourselves nearly 5 years ago and have been together for over 10 years now, 2 kids to keep us on our toes. Our wedding was very much untraditional, no speeches, no walking down the isle and we travelled to our venue all together with our guests on a London bus. I think that is what makes weddings and filming them so interesting and enjoyable, it’s that every one is different, unique and personal making it a joy to film.
